How to Grow Your Hair Long

You’ve been wanting long, delicious locks for years, but aren’t sure how to keep your hair healthy on it’s growth journey.

The biggest key to getting longer hair is keeping it healthy: healthy hair = longer hair.

 

 

Here are a few tips to help your tresses grow like crazy.

Trim it.

Yes, get those dry ends off before they break off! Getting regular trims will make your hair look and feel healthier, while promoting hair growth. It may seem counter-productive, but we promise your hair will thank you by growing more!


Condition it.

Saturate your hair with conditioner (and lots of it) when you get in the shower. Skip the shampoo every now and then and find a conditioner that is rich in protein or gives your ends a moisture boost! Make sure to keep it in for 5-10 minutes and focus the majority of the product on your ends. Rinse the conditioner out with cool water to seal in all the nutrients.


Masque it.

Apply a hair masque weekly in order to give it the extra lovin’ that conditioner just can’t! You can leave a masque in for a few hours or even overnight. If you are at the pool, the beach, or outside all day, keep a masque in your hair for protection against the sun, chlorine, and dry weather.


Feed it.

Your hair is what you eat! Be sure to incorporate foods high in proteins, antioxidants, fatty acids, and biotin. Leave it alone.
